wikipedia

wikipedia is great,

it gives great free information to the public.

Anyone who owns a computer and has an internet connection could get an entry level education in that specific subject.

However it can be incorrect!

genearlly its not professionally done, so you never know what you might read!!!!!!!!!!

The Complication of Listening to Music

The original devices that were efficient such as the iPod, the iPod Mini, and the iPod Nano were the simple way to listen to music, however the new Apple inventions such as the 'iPod Touch', 'The iPad' and now the 'iPad Mini'. These devices are no longer music devices they are mini computers which gives you the option of listening to music. This 'complication' makes listening to music portably alot harder and a lot more expensive- the iPod Nano when it came out costed about £120 the new iPod Touch costs about £260 (32GB, other prices vary for different sizes).
Thankfully Apple have brought out a brand new iPod just for music the new iPod Nano, yet it is not selling as well because for an extra £100 you have a mini computer. Is this a problem?

The DeWeezy Project

As many of you will know the record label 'Young Money' is run by Lil Wayne, he has produced some amazing artists such as Drake and Nicki Minaj.

Lil wayne (also known as Weezy) is also an individual recording artist, with some big hits such as Right Above It and Drop the World (with eminem) and It's Good with Jadakiss and Drake. As well as others.

Lil wayne is now very successful, and retired to raise his two children, but also for the DeWeezy Project.

This is a project in which Lil wayne (weezy) and Mountain Dew (DeW....)

He has gone to neighbourhoods which are poor, or have little money, and built skateparks for them. Lil waynes has a passion for skateboarding.

A quick round up of recents!

September and October have been big months for Music!

We had Good Music: Cruel Summer (presented by Kanye West).

This was a top album, and managed to satisfy customers greatly, despite his last album (joint with Jay-Z) Watch The Throne, which broke multiple records and won many awards.

The Killers brought out there new album: Battleborn featuring their single 'Runaways'. This was the first album they have brough out since Day & Age, which was released in November 2008.

The album is fair, not as good as any of their previous albums however, Runaways is a good song.

Lil Wayne, (temporarily retired for the DeWeezy Project ; See other post) has released a mixtape: Dedication 4, with many remixes and featuring artists such as Nicki Minaj!

How To Get Music from your iTunes onto your Blackberry or any mobile device

There are two very easy ways of doing this:

1) Download Blackberry Desktop Manager: http://uk.blackberry.com/services/desktop/ (for mac and pc)

2) Over Bluetooth  (no addition software required) (Mac Only)

----

1)

After downloading BDM, you will need to plug your phone into your computer, using the supplied cable, or any cable which fits.

Once you have done this, you can then choose the side link: Music (under Media).
From there you will be able to look at your iTunes and pick what you want to put on your Blackberry Device, this even includes playlists.

2)

<slightly harder>

If you do want to do this over bluetooth you will need to launch a built in program called Bluetooth File Exchange.

Once you have done this you will want to turn on bluetooth on on the mobile device

Now select the song (from finder) or file you want and click send

It will then bring up a list of devices click on the one which is yours and click send, this will take up to 3 minutes.

Good Luck!

Technology & Music in Harmony

Technology in terms of music has come a long way in the last thirty years, from vinyls to CDs to MP3 to MP4s. Dominating the market, with hardly any proper rivals, the iPod, without a doubt the best MP4 player every to be made. Apple(R) are the only company that are still successfully making MP4 devices with no internet connection, or Phone feature.
iTunes, the base of all Music for most people, is by far (in my opinion) the best music player. With its incredible integrated connection with iPods and iPhones and iPads. The all new iTunes Match, which allows you to store all your music in the cloud for £21 a year, under £2 per month. As well as this all music in iTunes Match you own, where as on Spotify, unless one buys a song, the use of the 'Offline' mode is very devious and misleading, as it does not mean you own the song, you are merely renting it, and for £9.99/month if you want it on your mobile devices, or when you are not in an internet zone. However if one wants to stop paying this £9.99/month then they must part with all there music, which they have been 'renting'.
As well as this Apple have transformed the Music Market, by allowing almost any device to connect with iTunes, (often through another app: such as Blackberry Desktop Manager)
